This is what I brought in my camera bag on my trip to Brazil. The GPS and the hard drive were new before this trip. The lenses and flash are all second hand items I’ve bought on ebay. If I were a Canon or Nikon shooter it would have costed me a fortune to buy 2.8 lenses with stabilization, and that wouldn’t have been an option. Sony has stabilization in the camera body so that feature is independent of what lens I have.

is there any way i can put them onto the computer? i have a memory card but the pics arent on it, theyr stored on the camera memory.

I have no idea how the disc became write-protected, and therefore don’t know how to remove it in order to delete the pictures after downloading them.

I’ve never used XD, so I might be wrong – but is there a small plastic switch on the side of the card. You might have just caught this when putting the card into the slot.

This is a real oldie! This is the first digital camera I’ve ever seen and I remember how surprised I was to see such a shape in a photo camera. I guess at that time they were trying to reinvent the shape of the photo cameras as well. toghether with the fast changing technology.
Unfortunately it’s not working with batteries, but maybe I can use an AC adapter. I hope I can work it out.
The two memory PCMCIA cards are 4 MB each and they are dated 1995. Can’t believe it…
