Question by Princess Fiona: How do I remove write-protection from an XD digital camera memory card?
I have no idea how the disc became write-protected, and therefore don’t know how to remove it in order to delete the pictures after downloading them.

I’ve never used XD, so I might be wrong – but is there a small plastic switch on the side of the card. You might have just caught this when putting the card into the slot.

When it comes to the high-spec compact camera market, Canon has set the standard with the G-series, and raised the bar again with the PowerShot G12. The Canon G12 offers full manual control and raw shooting mode as well as smart auto, which lets the camera take charge. Add to this image stabilization, HDR capability and multi-aspect shooting, and you can see why this compact camera gives interchangeable lens cameras a run for their money. Question by rachelmace: Have you any digital photos from Coventry Transport Museum?
I have just been on an educational school trip to Coventry Transport Museum and taken lots of photos for work with over the next few weeks. However, my digital camera has deleted them all. I have downloaded a few pictures from various websites, including the official one, but wonder if anyone has taken their own photos which they could share with me.

Above the clouds, looking north from Valencia Peak. On this Valencia Peak hike and Photo Walk, a nine-year old visitor on today’s hike looked up from the trail about two-thirds of the way up to the top of Valencia Peak and exclaimed “Wow, it’s a valley of flowers!”which said it better than our official theme of “it’s a botanic garden all the way up.” Montaña de Oro State Park, Los Osos, CA 08 July 2011.

Question by Andrew R: Digital camera advice from Fuji owners – battery charging?
My wife’s just bought a Fuji finepix z70 digital camera, we’re wondering when the battery is supposed to be charged, how long on average it takes? The instructions state to wait for the charge light to turn off, but this doesn’t seem to be happening. The adapter lights changed from orange to green without any further indication its going to do anything. Is it ready? Has been on charge for hours.
Thanks
So is the battery ready when its turned from red to green? You dont have to wait for it to turn off completely?

Answer by lbaker2656
I have the F50 and the light goes from red to green in a couple of hours. Put the battery back in the camera and it will show you if its charged or not. Make sure the battery is clicked into the charger properly as I didnt the first time and wondered why it was taking hours to charge!
