Question by New Boots.: Do you buy your children’s school photo?
In these days of digital cameras is there still a place for school photos? Why would I pay ridiculous prices for a rather stiff, unnatural picture when I can take a picture of them at home and print it off for pennies? Traditionally the idea of school photos was so that families without access to cameras could have pictures of their children, for some older members of my family the only record of their childhood is the school photos but is it relevant in this day and age?

I personally don’t see the point, other for a memory for the child themselves that they attended that school. Only allow them to take the picture if they want to take the picture, they should not be forced to take it like some schools force children to.
They tried to force me and I retaliated.

Looking at reviews of this camera on Amazon.com i have found these statements:
This is quite possibly the worst camera I have ever operated.
The focus seems to be a fixed focus. In other words, it fixes on anything it wants and nothing you want.
If your subject doesn’t fall asleep, you will waiting for the picture to write to memory.
If your indoors you won’t be able to see ANYTHING on the LCD screen. It doesn’t help that the camera doesn’t have a viewfinder.
The salespeople REALLY didn’t want to sell this brand to me
i did like the size of it…just wished it worked.
Well, this camera has been nothing but disappointing and just plain useless since I recieved it.
stay away… far far away.
most pictures are worthless. please do not even consider this camera.
Camera delay makes taking pictures of children almost impossible. Even landscape moves too fast for this camera!!
