if the 1/200 or somewhere around there is the speed where the curtains/shutters have enough time to fully open before the other one starts closing whats the point of having higher shutter speed?? this might be a dumb question but if anyone knows anything let me know. I am gonna take a look at this shutter speed thing over again because i think i have taken pictures at speed higher outdoors, i m not sure i will check again with the cam. does anyone have any info/input? thanks

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for video. I did what you did except used off camera speedlite flash SB900 but either the subject was too dark when the background was dark or if the subject was well lit, then the background was not pitch black, I believe the light behind the subject was cause by the flash, so I could not get that affect. I tried all types of Apertures/Shutter speeds and ISO and I have D90, is the shot possible? If so what am I doing wrong?
    Thanks
    John

it is very hard to get an audience on youtube especially for new channels.

although everyone is writing ‘check out my channel’, i think you should do that (i do that aswell) because the videos might be really good although no one is watching them.

so: check out my channel about photography and comedy!
If you think so too: thumbs up! Thank you!

Which focuses faster the D7000 or the 7D, the 7D has 19 cross type sensors compared to 9 of D7000 does that make any difference. Also the D7000 is a newer camera compared to the 7D what differences are there technology wise. I’m only interested in sports and wildlife photography (action). Which one will you recommend D7000 or the 7D?

Is this a running joke between you two? It got annoying on the third can of Coke Zero.

  27. pstchaseki says:

You guys are hands down one of the best photographers in the SO CAL area. The Coke zero joke looked too intentionally overdone and annoying.

  36. SLRlounge says:

@adinanoel Hehe, @savillephotographer is exactly right. But, I get you too Adinanoel. For a clear and straight forward “un-caffeined-up” version of this, just check out the actual text listing on the actual article on our site. We actually list our bag content out in the article as well. It is the link at the top of the description. Enjoy my fellow ADD amiga ;)

  37. adinanoel says:

@savillephotographer Yeah, I get that they’re just joking around and I get what you’re saying, still… I’m serious when I say I am too ADD for this. Not their fault, just my brain! :-P

  38. savillephotographer says:

There’s a “replay” button, you know. Clearly they’re poking fun at how BORING most “what’s in your bag” videos are. I dunno about you but I’m kinda sick of videos where people are practically bragging about what’s in their bag. I usually click “close window” after 15 seconds.

  39. adinanoel says:

I can honestly say, I now have no idea what’s in your bag because I was way too distracted with all the caffeine intake. Seriously, I’m too ADD to pay attention to what you’re saying. But, you know, if you like what you’re doing and that’s “you” then keep at it! :)

  40. SLRlounge says:

Stupid maybe, but are their any other 7 minute long what’s in your bag videos that you actually watched all the way through?… I say not =)

  41. asharif111 says:

thats the most exceptional whats in my camera bag I’ve seen!! :P
