Adobe Dreamweaver help – Picture slideshow?

Question by mememe: Adobe Dreamweaver help – Picture slideshow?
Hey, in Dreamweaver i want to create a slideshow for pictures but i’m not sure how to. What i basically want to have is a button (next) you press to see the next picture. I would also like other options such as “Previous picture” “pause” and “play”.
Can anyone please explain to me how to do this or at least the name of what i am trying to achieve. Thanks :)

Dreamweaver has no native function to do such a thing. That would need to be hard coded using some sort of dynamic script, or Flash. For a slideshow…those tend to be done using Flash.

Your best bet will be to look on the internet for a pre-made script that will allow you to accomplish this.

It’s no good expecting to be able to press a button in Dreamweaver and Blam!, a slideshow appears ;-) You’ll either have to learn how to programme – probably need some javascript for that (Google “jquery slideshow”) or buy a pre-made package such as this one http://www.projectseven.com/products/galleries/ssm/index.htm
