Hiya,
Can anyone help me? i want to make a couple of christmas cards with pictures of my daughter on for family.I also want to be able to type happy christmas on the front.Does anyone know how i can go about this as i am useless

Get openoffice from http://www.openoffice.org – its free
Use DRAW for the text, import photos and layout
If you want to edit the photos before importing them (crop, tidy, etc), try Paint.net from http://www.getpaint.net – its free.
Clipart is free, just google for images
A4 paper folded twice makes a good card size.

When I was looking for a place to print my personalized photo Christmas cards I found a great website with a bunch of reviews of different places that offer this type service. The place I selected to use for my holiday cards requires a membership, but since I’ll use the service for business purposes as well, it’s worth it to me.
However, they did have a couple of other places that might work for you. The first one allows you to format and print the cards from home, and is free for the first 30 days (just be sure and cancel membership before 30 days and they won’t charge you).
The second and third one have pre-designed layouts for you to upload you pictures to, then will print them out on high quality paper and send them to you or will even mail them directly to the recipients for a few dollars more.
Be sure and check them all out before you make your decision – prices vary, but I think you’ll be satisfied with the product no matter which one you choose.
